Our final Meet the Artist of the summer! ☀️🎨

Join us on Friday 24 July, 1–3 PM for a special afternoon with Deborah Jones at The Hyde Gallery.

Known for her vibrant paintings inspired by the natural world, Deborah creates works that celebrate colour, light and the beauty of wildlife. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet the artist, hear about the inspiration behind her collection, and discover the stories and creative process that bring each painting to life.

We’ll be serving refreshing lemonade, so come and enjoy a relaxed summer afternoon surrounded by beautiful art and great conversation.

Dressed to impress! 🍋🐾

Beautiful Dotty stopped by The Hyde Gallery yesterday looking every bit the art lover in her fabulous lemon-print outfit. Could there have been a more perfect match for Jo Mitchell Long’s joyful tablescapes? We don’t think so.

Sometimes the best gallery visitors arrive on four paws, bringing smiles before anyone has even stepped through the door. Dotty certainly brightened our day and proved that great style belongs both on the walls and on the pavement outside.

Thank you for posing so beautifully, Dotty - you were the perfect complement to the window display. 💛🍋🎨

Sometimes the hardest part of collecting art is choosing just one.

This wonderful couple spent a long time standing in front of these two paintings. She was completely drawn to Ballet Blue - captivated by its movement, elegance and serenity. He couldn’t look past The Fire and the Rose - Sunset Evening Roses (2026), mesmerised by its warmth, light and rich colour.

It’s a conversation we love witnessing at The Hyde Gallery. Every artwork speaks to people differently, and often the piece you choose says something about you.

In the end, they chose the painting that they both kept coming back to.

The Fire and the Rose - Sunset Evening Roses is now on its way to a beautiful new home in the Lake District, where it will be enjoyed every day.

And for those who have fallen in love with Ballet Blue, there is good news - it is still available and waiting for its perfect collector.
