Sometimes it is OK to say no.

In an industry built on opportunity, actors can often feel pressure to say yes to everything.

But not every meeting, project or conversation will feel right. Trusting your instincts and understanding what works for you is an important part of building a career.

Actors should never feel pushed into a meeting or opportunity they are uncomfortable with.

A good agent is there to help navigate those conversations and support you in making the right decisions.

Sometimes protecting your time and energy is the most professional choice you can make.

CLIENT NEWS | We are very excited for Anna Brindle, who has just been cast in a table read for a new series.

Unfortunately we cannot tell you anything about it.

Not the show.
Not the platform.
Not the cast.

Because NDAs are very real things.

But we are incredibly proud of Anna and looking forward to seeing where this project goes.

A new week.

Take a moment to ask yourself what you can do this week to stay connected to the industry.

It might be something small. Watching a new play, reading a script, working on a monologue, or reconnecting with material that inspires you.

Careers in this industry rarely move in a straight line, but progress is often built through small steps taken consistently over time.

Keep the faith and keep moving forward. Your time will come.

We wrote more about staying connected to the industry in an article in The Green Room on our website.
