New wand post! This is my Blue Eyed White Dragon wand - inspired by the legendary Yu-Gi-Oh card and Game of Thrones’ White Walker dragon, I wanted to do something a bit different and I also needed an excuse for using the blue eyes!
This also gave me an opportunity to show off my new copy of Hogwarts: A History by - I’m absolutely in love with the details in this book!

The next 4 designs from my Greek Myth series: having made a wand inspired by Hermes a while back, I decided to design a wand inspired by Medusa. I also wanted to have Artemis and Apollo’s wands, as twin gods, to have wands which mirrored each other. I’m looking forward to doing some more designs soon!

You may remember this one from my last page of designs: the Wand of Zeus! Inspired by his classic thunderbolts and the oak tree, which is one of his symbols, this wand shows gold accents and comes in a custom wand box. I was originally going to paint the acorn to look more natural, but I really love how it looks in gold!

So this is the start of a new series of wands - the Olympian Series! I’m excited for these as they’re giving me a chance to take ideas and concepts from the Greek myths and turn them into tactile wand designs. These four are, from left to right: Zeus, Poseidon, Hades and Hera. I’ve tried to imbue characteristics and symbols from the characters into each design - the goddesses all have a more feminine look to them, while the designs for the gods tend to look more masculine. I’m looking forward to sharing more designs with you!

For the aspiring magizoologist or duellist - the Black Dragon wand! Measuring approx. 13 1/2 inches in length, this wand features a highly detailed dragon head and neck, with yellow gems for glowing eyes. This wand has been finished with a red/black acrylic paint with a varnish coat to make its scales really shine. Available now on my Etsy store in my bio!

A freshly made wand box sent off to its new home this morning! Really pleased with how it’s come out - clean lines, a snug fit between box and lid and finished with purple tissue paper covering cut foam for the wand bed, and the Ward’s Wand Emporium logo on the lid. I was very excited about this design! The brief was a Narcissa Malfoy-inspired wand for a young Slytherin - and I love how it turned out! 12 inches in off-black with chrome details and gemstones set into the handle. It also came with my first handmade wand box with my hand-drawn logo, and finished with the young witch’s initials on the side. The perfect present for a Potterhead!
