☀️💛 Jiggy is OPEN Tomorrow! 💛☀️

With the warm weather set to continue, I wanted to reassure everyone that tomorrow's sessions at St Blaise Boxgrove will be running as normal, with a few extra measures in place to help keep everyone comfortable.

🧑‍🧒‍🧒 Jiggy Mixed – 10:00am
👶 Jiggy Babies – 11:20am

To help keep the hall cool and comfortable, we'll be:

🚪 Keeping doors and windows open for airflow - where's it's safe to do so
💧 Encouraging water breaks
🌈 Adapting activities where needed

Jiggy Babies will be capped at 10 babies tomorrow to ensure everyone has plenty of space and stays comfortable in the heat.

⚠️ Some of these spaces are already booked, so if you're planning to join us, I strongly recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.
Please remember to bring:
💧 Drinks for you and your little on
🧢 Hats for before and after the session
👕 Cool, comfortable clothing

As always, there'll be:
☕ Complimentary hot drinks for adults
💧 Cold water available
🍪 Biscuits during social time

This is what I’ve done for my youngest today! A little paddling pool, some sand, buckets and toys can create the perfect summer sensory play setup right in your garden — and safely in the shade too! 🌳
Water play is such a lovely way for little ones to cool down while learning through play. It helps with:
💧 Keeping cool and regulated in hot weather
💧 Hand-eye coordination
💧 Pouring, scooping and early problem-solving skills
💧 Confidence and independence
💧 Language development through play and exploration
Sand play is amazing for development up to age 5 too! 🏝️
It supports:
⭐ Fine motor skills and hand strength
⭐ Creativity and imagination
⭐ Sensory exploration
⭐ Early maths concepts like filling, emptying and measuring
⭐ Social play and turn taking
And the best bit? No crowded beaches, no scorching sand and no overtired little ones after a long hot trip out. Just simple summer memories made at home 💛
