🎨 Chichester Creatives Monthly Meetup
Tue 9th June
🕔 5.15pm – 6.30pm
📍 Ghost of the Feast, Chichester

Our monthly meetup is a space for all creatives to connect, share, and support one another.

Whether you’re an artist, maker, designer, writer, performer, freelancer — or simply exploring your creative path — you’re very welcome.

It’s a relaxed, informal session. We start with a short introduction, then open the floor for anyone who’d like to share what they’re working on, or where they’d value input from the group.

✨ If you’re looking for inspiration, conversation, or a sense of creative community, this is a lovely place to start.

The evening flows straight into A Creative Space Chi at 6.30pm, so feel free to stay on and continue the conversation.

🎟 Free to attend — booking link in bio.

On 28th March we delivered Sussex Portrait Artist of the Year after months of planning — a live portrait event and fundraiser supporting our work with creatives across Sussex.

Alongside the event itself, we made some intentional shifts behind the scenes.

Through ticket sales, artist submissions and fundraising, we were able to put money back into the people who make these events happen — from those documenting the day to those contributing creatively behind the scenes, as well as supporting volunteers with their time and travel.

It’s a small step, but an important one.

So much of what sits around the arts — events, networks, opportunities — is often held together by goodwill. And while that generosity is incredible, it shouldn’t be the default.

If we want creative and freelance careers to be viable long-term, the way these environments are built needs to reflect that — moving away from reliance on goodwill and towards something more considered and sustainable.

This is something we’re committed to building into how we grow — steadily, realistically, and with purpose.

A big thank you to JKM Services Jkmcouriers for helping us get all the easels, chairs and tables over to Worthing for tomorrow’s Sussexpaoty held at The Venue

When you’re running a fundraising event like this, it really does take a team. Every bit of support makes a difference — and it’s what allows everything to come together.

We really appreciate you being part of it.

We are down to the last few tickets.
