One of my most popular lines at the ARM Markjet which is fast approaching 😬
The left case has been tooled with a flower design from the walls of Bolsover Castle, while the other is a personalised gift.

A work in progress that just needs a bit of tweaking before it goes in the post.
Diamond section woodcore, with some light tooling.
Custom made brasswork for an early 15th century style near vertical suspension.
Pleased with how it’s coming out: I’m getting into brass fabrication now 🤣

Sharing this because I’m in awe of this!
A drawing by a very good, very old friend of mine who picked up a pencil when life got in the way.
We worked together in advertising and in printing and now we’re both hands on.

‘Resilience’ captures the quiet strength of one of nature’s most elusive and remarkable creatures. Emerging from the darkness, the snow leopard’s steady gaze reflects endurance, adaptability, and an unwavering determination to survive in one of the world’s harshest environments.
Drawn on 40cm x 30cm dark grey Pastelmat using Polychromos & Pablos coloured pencils and Panpastel background, each carefully layered pencil stroke highlights the beauty of this magnificent predator, from the intricate markings of its coat to the softness of its fur.
As a companion piece to ‘Resolve’, my lion drawing, this artwork is a reminder that true strength is often found not in force, but in the ability to persevere through life’s greatest challenges. Reference photo kindly provided, with deep thanks, by Aurora Paws.

A pair of 12-13th scabbards in the making: one blue with white belts, one possibly Oxblood, but definitely with pink belts 😬

Well, I said I’d never start making shoes commercially (too old to learn the craft!) but, having had my arm twisted, here you go..my first (and probably last!) pair of medieval boots going to a customer. 😬

Finished diamond core scabbard with my own lockets.
Pretty pleased with how this turned out and, after the steep learning curve of the top piece, the middle one didn’t take long at all!
