Day Four of "Beat the Bots"
I do a lot of Film and TV work, in addition to my day to day Reenactment work.
I worked on the Witcher Seasons 2-3 (and the Lark Prequel) and moved to full time in-house Armoury Leatherworker at the Netflix Witcher Studios for Seasons 4 and 5, where I made pretty much all the multiple army armoury leatherwork (scabbards, quivers, belts...) and the same for a lot of the main characters (Geralt, Ciri, Milva, Yarpen, Zoltan etc)
Unfortunately, Netflix NDA's mean I can't share any of that!
I also can't share the work I did on Gladiator 2 or the new Highlander movie.....
I can, however, share pics of the scabbard I made for King Richard in the Lost King a couple of years ago, so here you go!
As ever, to help beat the Facebook bots, please like, share, comment away then maybe I'll get out of Meta purgatory!

Day 3 of Beat the Bots!
Most of my work is authentic Woodcore scabbards, with period suspension and fittings.
Each scabbard is individual, made to fit your specific item (...trying to not say S@ #~d or Bl cause the bots don't like it!)
Here is a selection of mainly 12th to 14th Century styles, with typical X style integrated belts.
from the 11th to late 13th Century, a tie/swallowtail fastening was most common, though buckles could be used. From the early 1300's, buckles pretty much took over!
Get in touch if you're looking for a custom scabbard, or visit www.buffyleather.co.uk
Once again, grateful for likes and shares: beat the Bots!!!

Day Two of "Beat the Facebook Bots"
Most my work is Medieval scabbards, but I also produce multi period general historic leatherwork.
Here you see a range of Roman products, including a full Medal Harness, two sets of Shoulder Doublers and a sword Baldric, together with a Gladius scabbard (scary build for the Royal Armouries)
Again, I'd be grateful for likes and comments to help convince Meta to lift me out of oblivion!
Many thanks

Hi all, I'm reaching out cause I need some help to battle the Facebook bots!
For reasons best known the the Meta Algorithm, my page has been blocked for sharing for nearly two months and not one of the 17 Meta agents I've spoken to can tell me why, so I've given up on them.
What they have said is that a couple of weeks of daily posts will help beat the block, so standby as I share a barrage of builds over the next few days.
I'd be very grateful if you could like, comment (even if it's just a smiley face or thumbs up) and share my posts, which will hopefully release the block and free Buffy from purgatory!
So, to kick off, a selection of scabbards showcasing some of my work.....
Many thanks to everyone who helps (and apologies for tagging .....I hate it when people do that!

A couple of woodcore scabbards for stock, both available to buy.
Will fit upto a 55mm wide and 76cm long, so Armourclass (amongst others)
One with swallowtail belts, one with buckle, both are suitable for 12-14th century.
Drop me a line if you’re interested, otherwise they’ll be stock for the markets.

One of those commissions where my experience making unusual leatherwork at paid off: a woodcore scabbard and belts for a Mongolian Cavalry Sabre!
Beautiful blade by Tim at Heron Armoury, it was challenging to keep the typical ā€œcurvedā€ scabbard shape when the sword was pretty much long and straight with a kick at the end!
Matching pair of belts, based on surviving originals.
Will be in action in the coming months.
A privilege to make bespoke leatherwork work to fit a Heron for the Royal Armouries 🤩

With the big events coming up, there’s still time to order your own authentic woodcore scabbard for Evesham, Shrewsbury and Tewkesbury (other events also catered for šŸ˜)
Drop me a line if you’re interested: happy to work from measurements.

Been a bit quiet lately as I’ve been doing movie work as well as dealing with some very ā€œinterestingā€ commissions…
Here are a pair of Mongolian cavalry belts, part of a larger work that seems to be taking forever!
