Next Friday (10 July) at 7pm, the Nave Choir present their summer concert at St Mary Without the Walls, Chester, featuring 17th- and 18th century music from England and Italy, directed by Alexander Lanigan-Palotai, with Daniel Mathieson at the organ.

The programme includes music by Henry Purcell, Isabella Leonarda, and the 'Credo in F major' by Antonio Lotti, from which the famous 'Crucifixus' comes.

This concert is free entry, with a retiring collection. All welcome!

Choristership at Chester Cathedral is an incredible opportunity for a free musical education that lasts a lifetime. Our choristers learn great music, enjoy trips across the country, and develop their creativity and independence with friends from other schools.

We’re delighted that our next concert will be part of the Music by the Bridge concert series at St Mary Without the Walls, Chester.

We’ve got a brilliant varied concert to sing and will be accompanied by Musical Director at St Mary’s - Michael Reynolds.
