We may be on our Spring/Summer break from the rehearsal room but plans are in full swing for next year.

Our members will be back together in the Autumn ready to start work on the first of three - yes three plays for 2027!

We can now announce the first!

WAITING FOR GATEAUX

Mo-tivators is the worst health and fitness club in the country. Run by Maureen from a small hall in the middle of nowhere it only attracts clientele who have nothing better to do.

Jackie comes to get away from her philandering husband and she’s started to bring her young sister Whitney along to keep her out of trouble. Donald comes because he secretly loves Maureen – he’s lost some weight but if he doesn’t ask her out soon there’ll be nothing left of him!

Things seem to be on the up when Sophie, a researcher for a reality TV programme, comes to check out the club but when a snowstorm arrives it brings with it revelations which will change their lives forever in this comedy about friendship, frostbite and French fries.

Written by the team behind the hilarious ‘Dirty Dusting’, we can’t wait to bring on the laughs!

The show may be over, but we have memories that will stay with us. Plus, we can now share our NODA report. Our NODA Representative, Michelle, came to see the show and this is what she had to say!

Thanks Michelle and all at NODA.

Thank you to our lovely audiences earlier this week, your laughter and applause are just why we do what we do!!

Agatha Crusty (pronounced Croosty) is a crime novelist, also pretty adept at solving crimes. When her sister in law Alice invites her to stay, it’s not long before she gets caught up in a series of murders which seem directed at members of the All Saints Village Hall committee.

With an investigating officer as incompetent as DI Twigg, there’s plenty of laughs as the murders begin to pile up…

It’s time to introduce another member of our cast. The role of Bernard, played by Alan who had this to say…

Despite hearing the dialogue many times I still find myself smiling at various one liners. There are so many funny bits. My character is a bit bumbling, and a bit dim but good hearted. However although I can get by in the kitchen he makes wonderful food, especially pies. I'm quite jealous!

You can either sit at home and watch the same boring TV programmes or get out and see real people entertaining you and having a good time. Come and see if you can find the murderer before Miss Crusty!

It has been so much fun rehearsing for this play. The whole cast are working really hard, and at times it's been hard to remain so serious. You will have a thoroughly enjoyable evening, there's lots of laughs with a murder mystery thrown in.

I’m loving the performances and chemistry between the cast and I’ve loved playing this character because they’re so confident but completely clueless. It creates a lot of comedy!
People should come see this play because it’s full of energy, humour and really fun characters
