🌸🎉 APPLE BLOSSOM CREATIVES IS OFFICIALLY ONLINE! 🎉🌸

After months of designing, photographing, uploading, changing things, changing them back again… and discovering just how much work actually goes into building a website 😂…

The Apple Blossom Creatives website is LIVE.

This feels like a pretty big milestone.

What started with me simply enjoying making things has grown into markets, stockists, bespoke work, new product ranges and some projects that have got slightly more elaborate than originally intended. ♟️😂

And now Apple Blossom Creatives finally has a proper home online. ❤️

You can already browse a growing range of:

😅 REAL SMALL-BUSINESS MOMENT…

Sometimes you put so much energy into moving one part of the business forward that something else quietly gets forgotten.

Lately I’ve been completely focused on getting the Apple Blossom Creatives website finished, photographing products, sorting stock and getting everything ready to launch properly.

And today I realised I’d taken my foot off the pedal elsewhere…

Half the price signs were missing.
The magnets had somehow been forgotten completely.
And the stall definitely wasn’t as organised as I thought it was. 😂

Not exactly the polished small-business image you’re supposed to show online…

But I think it’s important to show this side too.

Running a small business means juggling a lot of things at once, and sometimes you simply don’t get every single one of them right.

So today was a bit of a reset.

A reminder to slow down, look at the whole picture and sort the things I’d let slide.

Because progress doesn’t always look perfect. 🌸

If you run a small business too, tell me I’m not the only one who occasionally forgets something painfully obvious. 😂

I dropped off a fresh restock today for , including a top-up of keyrings and bottle openers, plus two new coaster ranges now joining the collection. ❤️

👀🌸 IT’S STARTING TO LOOK REAL…

The new Apple Blossom Creatives website is officially taking shape.

There’s still a bit to do before I’m ready to open it properly, but seeing the new branding, products and everything else finally coming together is a very good feeling.

And yes… the Cathedral Chess Set has already claimed pride of place. ♟️😂

The website will bring together the full Apple Blossom Creatives range in one place — handmade gifts, homeware, games, bespoke creations and plenty more as the range grows.

🌸 YOU SAW THE MOCK-UP… NOW IT’S OFFICIAL. 🌸

A little while ago I shared a first look at the new logo I was working towards for Apple Blossom Creatives.

Well… here it is.

Finished, polished and officially ours. 🌳🌸

I wanted the new logo to feel like the business Apple Blossom Creatives is becoming — creative, handmade, distinctive and just a little bit different.

It still has the apple blossom tree at its heart, but now it finally feels like a proper identity for everything I’m building.

And considering some of the things coming out of my workshop lately, I suspect the logo may actually be the sensible part. 😂

This feels like another big step forward for Apple Blossom Creatives, and I’ve got plenty more planned.

♟️ PUGNA AETERNA — THE CATHEDRAL CHESS SET ♟️

This one just keeps evolving…

Those who’ve been following Apple Blossom Creatives for a while may recognise my Cathedral Chess Set, but I’ve recently given it another round of upgrades — and I think it’s finally becoming the piece I originally had in my head.

The board now sits above its own gothic-inspired storage box, with layered decorative panels, cathedral arches and brass corner details bringing the whole thing together.

And, of course, those monstrous chess pieces still take pride of place on top. 😈

This is the kind of project I absolutely love making. It started as an idea, then became a chess set… and somehow turned into a miniature gothic cathedral sitting on my craft stall. 😂

I’m constantly trying to push what I can make with wood, a laser and a slightly overactive imagination, so there will definitely be more projects like this coming.

No stall video today… mainly because I thought I’d save you all from watching me awkwardly walk around pointing at things saying, “I made this one too.” 😂

This really isn’t a post I wanted to have to make today.

Unfortunately, someone has taken a chess piece from one of the sets on my stall, leaving me with an incomplete chess set.

To whoever took it — it might only look like one small piece, but these sets take a lot of time, effort and money to make. It now means I either have to make and finish a replacement piece, or potentially sell the set incomplete and owe the buyer the missing piece afterwards.

Either way, it costs me more time and money.

I’m a small independent maker. Everything on my stall has been made, finished and prepared by me, and every sale genuinely matters.

If the piece was picked up accidentally, please just bring it back. No questions asked.

It’s incredibly disappointing that I even need to write this, but please remember that stealing from a small business isn’t taking from a big company — you’re taking directly from the person standing behind the stall.
