Thanks from Roisin Ban to Headland Folkfest Hartlepool for an superb St Pats night. The events needed a lot more support from the local folkies but Roisin Ban had a great night at the Headlands Club. Thanks to all who came to listen. A great event that needs your support. Hope to be back.

Many thanks to all who were there at the Mummers event on Pontefract yesterday 4th Jan. Thanks to all the performers & all those who stuck it out in the freezing cold to watch the performers. Its was very cold but at least it didnt rain or snow.
Some superb performances from everyone, especially the kids from Willow Green Academy who performed a short mummers play based on the story of Robin Hood .
We had a good old sing in The Old Grocers after that, with songs from members Wath Morris , Wakefield Morris, Sheffield Steel Rapper, Gordon Tyrrall, Roisin Ban, The Hooliemen, Richard Moss, & Mary Davies.
Ill post a few photos when I get them.
There will also be a short video when we get that edited.

Very sad news to hear of Tom Leedale `s death today on Christmas Eve 2025. Tom was a big part of Roisin Ban for many years & a fine flute player here pictured with the band at that period in time.
