I’m booked up this month with a metric butt load (that’s a technical term) of mixes to get through as well as a couple tracking projects coming through the studio. My rates will be going up from the 1st of August. All current bookings won’t be affected by this price increase, but if you’re thinking of working with me this year and you want to save some £££, book in during July and pay a deposit to secure your booking at my current rates. 🤝🏼

Awesome to bag another Track Of The Week on BBC Introducing Essex/Cambs last week! This time with the wonderful Melody Coles and the first song we’ve worked on together ‘Is It Just Me?’. Had a brilliant time in the studio with Melody, her dad Bryan (who played mandolin) and cellist Simon. 🙌🏼

February 14th 2015, the very first band walked through the doors of North Acre and the studio was officially open for business. Which means today, the studio has been operating for 10 years! 🤯

I still remember all of the sessions from the early years, which given my memory is amazing. I’ve dedicated the last decade of my life to making music and nothing has given me more joy and fulfilment. I owe my parents and grandparents a huge amount of appreciation; not only for making the studio and my music career a possibility, but for always encouraging and supporting me. It’s not always easy to keep the faith and keep pushing on in pursuit of your dreams. It makes a huge difference having your family behind you, showing no doubt that you can do it.

I am so grateful to each and every one of you that have come and worked with me at North Acre over the last 10 years, and continue coming back! I’ve said it so many times but it really is a dream and I’m still waiting to wake up. And to everyone that has supported in any way, be it a like, share, a mention or a recommendation - thank you. This has been built almost entirely by word of mouth. I mean, my studio is in the middle of nowhere, no one would know about me and my work if it wasn’t thanks to you lot.

I’ve made a playlist to showcase some of the amazing songs made at North Acre over the last 10 years. I’m also going to be releasing a limited edition line of merch to mark this milestone. Heck, might do some giveaways too.
