My daughter yesterday attended her final Brownies before moving to Guides in the Autumn. Her wonderful leader, Dragonfly, has always met her where she is that day and made a space for her to be comfortable and happy despite the challenges of AuDHD.

I put this little image together of my little Brownie girl consulting with the wise Dragonfly as a parting gift to say thank you for all the support.

Throwback to a painting I did of my daughter many years ago. She's holding Violet, her soft toy puppy, and is lost in thought. If I know my little girl, she's probably in a land of imagination, frollicking with puppies, kittens and foxes!

This is "Button", a button quail painted with ink and acrylics. Mounted on cotton canvas and framed in a mount of ivory, this was one of my pieces that I'm particularly fond off.

As I'm still out of action due to my poorly broken finger, I'm enjoying the process of looking through past projects and reframing them, and my daily activities!

I will be making Button available as a fine art print over the coming days - do get in touch if you're keen for this, or you know someone who might enjoy Button as much as I do.
