This market is always full of craic, with so many awesome local vendors to check out, fun family activities, live music, incredible food and drink, and of course the beautiful scenery!

Me and 'Stanley' were back on the road this evening for the first of my evening classes of this block in the Down Arts Centre, and did I take any pictures or videos? No. 😅 Why am I like this?!

We went through some of the basics of colour theory, we talked about compositions and values, we did some still life drawing with our right hand and then with the left (which everyone agreed actually made the drawings BETTER?!)

What a lovely class! A few familiar friendly faces and some new. I feel very grateful and am buzzing for Thursday mornings class!

New classes starting next week in the Down Arts Centre 🙂

In this part of County Down we are so spoiled for inspirational scenery, especially at this time of year! If you would like to paint some of these gorgeous views, or if you have something else in mind you would like to paint, you would be so welcome at my painting classes.

Open to all levels of skill, in a very relaxed environment in which everyone can work at thier own pace with no pressure at all.

The classes available are:
Tuesday evenings from 19th of May 6.30-9.30

Really looking forward to classes starting back next week in the Down Arts Centre! Its only been a couple of weeks but you miss the craic with everyone 😆

If you would like to join me next week, there are classes on:
Tuesday evenings from 6.30-9pm
OR
Thursday mornings from 10-12.30

These classes run for 6 weeks.

Living in this area you cant help but feel inspired and want to create, and you will be made to feel very welcome whether you paint all the time or if you havent touched a brush since school.

My last two painting classes before the summer break are now available in the Down Arts Centre!

There is an evening class available starting on Tueday the 19th of May, and a morning class starting on Thursday the 21st!

Both these classes are 2.5hours long, and during the 6 week course we will look at drawing skills, colour theory, compositions, perspective and loads of techniques for you to get the most out of your skills.

All levels of skill are welcome, from absolute beginners to experienced painters. 🙂
