Well it’s the end of term!!!! We finished on a high with NATD exams last Saturday

Just wanted to say a huge well done to everyone. You all tried your hardest which is the most important thing and I was proud of you all. From the little ones - some tackling their very first exam to the Senior girls who are “old hands at it”
The dressing room had a real buzz about it,everyone supported everyone else and it looked like you were having fun!!!
Have a great summer break ☀️as when we return in September we will be fully into “Show Mode”!

Had a wonderful day NATD London Theatrical Area Scholarships of the NATD
Proud of everyone who performed and hopefully enjoyed the classes!
As I said to all the girls it’s so good to have the experience of a competition class, so next time you know what’s going on and what to expect!
The 2 class teachers were very enthusiastic and I felt put everyone so at ease and, more importantly, made it fun!!!
Special mention to Safiyah in the Juniors who won her Modern heat and also got Tap and Contemporary through and Ruby in the Seniors who got through in Ballet, Tap, Modern and Contemporary. They will both be performing at the Finals in Manchester in the Autumn!
So, well done to Anastasia, Aniyah, Athena Bella, Eliza, Erin, Maggie, Margo, Morgan, Poppy, Safiyah, Shivani and Ruby!
Also something that was really lovely… Anastasia was awarded a special judges medal for showing promise as a dancer and they wanted to say it was nothing to do with her performing with a fractured arm. Just the potential that she showed!!!!

So Arts 2026 are finished!!!

Having had the lower age groups at the Polish two weeks ago, yesterday was the turn of the older girls and group results at the Greenwood and what a conclusion!!!!!

So proud of each and every one of our Finalists. You represented DHSS so well. Actually getting there, as the competition seems to get higher each year, is a major achievement in itself.👏⭐️👏⭐️👏⭐️ so a third place is actually out of the country so is truly amazing!!

Great day Sunday at the last of this year’s at Wokingham.
Everyone gave their absolute best and I’ve said before whilst it is lovely watching you perform and I was proud of you all 👏⭐️👏⭐️ it is even better witnessing how you all support each other!!!!

Special mention to Caitlin and Kasia coming up!
Unfortunately when Caitlin was dancing on Wednesday she - through no fault of her own - sustained a bad injury to her knee. In an awful lot of pain she managed to perform 3 solos and a duet (Drama, Open and Song) whilst sitting with her leg in a brace!!! How brave was that!!!👏⭐️

Then Kasia - who due to an injury was not able to perform in the Prelims - really stepped up. Now recovered, she learnt three group routines taking Caitlin’s place on Sunday. There was no way anybody would have known. Huge professionalism Kasia, so well done in 3 days!!👏⭐️
