There is nothing quite like our Victorian séance parlour all dressed up for the evening. Tonight, we will be guiding a full house of guests through communion with the Other Side, including using our stunning Obsidian scrying mirrors.

If you are interested in a séance at the museum, we offer both public and private events. Public events book up quickly, with our next available date now in November. Or, message or email to arrange your private evening.

✅️ The spooky toilet guarantee 💯 👻 😂

Thank you so much to all of our lovely visitors today, with special mention to Lydia and Nico who left a lovely (and spooky!) message in our guest book. We're sorry if our toilets scared you... you are not the only ones! Many guests have eerie experiences whilst using the facilities at the museum! I suppose it can only be expected in such a place!!

We are open again tomorrow from 10am and look forward to sharing our collection (and haunted toilets!) with you soon.

Exhausted... but happy! Thank you SO much to everyone who came and supported the museum over the Bank Holiday weekend. Erik and I are humbled to have been able to share our collection with so many people, to have been able to swap stories, answer your questions, and engage in many fantastic conversations about the paranormal and the nature of reality. It means such a lot to us to know that you appreciate our work, the objects that we care for, and have a genuine curiosity about all that is spiritual.

Plus, an extra special thank you to our members -- you bring such life to the museum. ❤️

THE MUSEUM IS OPEN TODAY!!

📢 UPCOMING: The museum will be open for the upcoming Bank Holiday Monday 31st August from 12pm to 4pm.

PLUS, join Laura Rowton in the Haunted Objects’ Schoolroom to learn more about the history of spirit boards and their safe usage… as well as a demonstration of one in action! (Volunteers welcomed.)

Want to know more about Ouija boards, but are too nervous to attend one of our evening events? Visit the museum this Bank Holiday Monday 31st August and join Laura for a spirit board demonstration at 2pm.

During the demo, she will be sharing a little about the history of spirit boards, as well as some of her own experiences, before inviting a few volunteers to join her on an open board...

No need to book in advance. Included in standard admission. All welcome, but please use your own judgement regarding this demonstration's suitability for children.
