A small figure beneath a giant sun.

A fitting cover for an album about distance, loss, memory, and finding your way back to yourself.

43 years ago today, Synchronicity arrived.

Released on June 17, 1983, Synchronicity became the biggest album of The Police’s career, delivering classics like “Every Breath You Take,” “King of Pain,” and “Wrapped Around Your Finger.”

43 years later, it remains a landmark album both bold, innovative, and endlessly replayable. Still one of the defining records of the 1980s.

There’s a Starman waiting in the sky… ⚡️

Spinning one of the greatest albums ever pressed: The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars. Fifty four years later, Bowie’s vision still sounds like the future.

Nothing beats dropping the needle on Ziggy and getting lost in another world.
Released on this day in 1972

Funny how quickly your opinion can change.

I never really got Olivia Rodrigo until Glastonbury. Seeing her live revealed something the records alone hadn’t.

And when she shared the stage with Robert Smith of The Cure, a genuine hero of mine it became one of those unforgettable festival moments.

Add in “What’s Wrong with Me”, which I can’t stop playing, and I’m officially a fan.

10/10. For me,what do you say?

Adam and the Ants didn’t just release an album…

they launched a movement. With its tribal inspired drumming, swaggering energy, and unforgettable tracks like Antmusic and Dog Eat Dog, this record helped define the sound of early ’80s new wave and became the best-selling album in the UK in 1981.

The cover alone is iconic, but drop the needle and you’ll find an album bursting with attitude, innovation, and pure excitement. More than four decades later, it still sounds bold, unique, and completely its own.

Now playing a true electronic classic today…Play by Moby.

Released in 1999, Play blended electronica, ambient textures, blues, gospel, and downtempo sounds into something completely unique. Tracks like Porcelain, Natural Blues, and Why Does My Heart Feel So Bad? helped define the sound of an era, while the album became one of the first to have every track licensed for film, TV, or advertising.

More than 25 years later, it still sounds fresh, emotional, and timeless.
