People from the past are a small group of individuals who work as costumed historic entertainers; who can demonstrate the lives and skills of figures from various professions in the past. We can also provide a consultation service for event organizers, and agency for hiring in high quality performers suited to your event type. Between us we have over 40 years of experience in many different types
of performance and historical education, suitable for museums and historic houses, the school environment, and open air performance at fairs and events. We can cover many different time periods, from the ancient to the more recent, including but not limited to Roman Britain, Saxon and Viking settlers, Medieval, Victorian England, and up to the Second World War. Along with a picture of daily life we can demonstrate the skills of various professions, including Mining through various time periods, Herbalism, Millers, Metal and Leatherworking skills, and Monastic lives.
