Little Fringe is a festival for families to enjoy and Big Fringe is a music event specifically for young people aged 13-18 years old.

Good morning!
So it seems the world is being reopened a little bit at a time. You can now go for a pint if you want! 🍺 but you cannot as of yet, have an epic event with some awesome people and some electric entertainment!
The BFLF team had a meeting a week ago to discuss what we are going to do. Our original date was cancelled due to covid being at a strongpoint. We moved the date forward but the virus stuck around for a little longer than we anticipated. ☹️
We have made a collective decision to postpone our second event date also. We want you to be safe and currently we cannot put on an event that will have the impact we desire while making sure no one gets sick 🤒
We are hoping for an event date in 2021🤞We will put on this event and we will throw the party of a lifetime for all ages!

Hi guys! Jodie here on behalf of the merch team
Recently me and chris have been having meetings the past couple of weeks debating what merch we think you guys would like and weve come up with some ideas keep an eye on this page and well be bringing you some sneak peaks of merch very soon!
We’re also hosting a free family event to have everyone involved in our fringe family.
We are running this event with the help of Rainbow Jelly Productions - Children's Entertainment.
We haven’t got a set date for our events yet but like our page to be the first to know when we have a date so you can make sure you can get tickets.

My name is Alissa and I am the Entertainment Co-ordinator. I am 19 and have been part of Big Fringe Little Fringe since the very start.
My main role throughout this project has been to organise bands, solo acts and any other entertainers 🎙🌈 to get on board and be part of our festival. I also talked to venues where we want to hold the events.
It has been amazing learning more about the entertainment industry and supporting local talent. We have some amazing acts on board and I cannot wait for you to see what’s in store! 😆

“ I'm 18, and an interesting fact about me is that I have climbed Ben Nevis and camped in minus degree temperatures and I lost just under 30 kg in around about a year! I have been part of the fringe team since it first started and I signed up because I like new challenges and I wanted to inspire young people like myself to think that they can do anything if they put the effort in”

I'm Abi, I'm 15 and I love anything performance wise, I'm also a bit of a nerd. I am another member of the marketing team and the thing I am mostly looking forward to is to see our hard work pay off and have everyone have a fun time”

While we wait for life to get back to normal, we want to suggest an event to look forward to. We have a family event with activities for younger children and an event for teenagers. A group of us have planned these events over the course of the last year and a half. We would like you to meet our team so I’ll start off.
I’m Abbie, I’m 13 years old, one of the youngest of the group! You’ll rarely see me without a hat 🧢 I’ve been involved with the project since the beginning and I’m part of the marketing team. I’m most excited to finally see our hard work become real and show what we’ve been doing. I hope you keep coming back to our page and join us at our events.

BIG FRINGE is an under 18’s music festival, with food, entertainment, this will take place at The Source Venue in Carlisle.
LITTLE FRINGE is a festival for families and will include lots of fun activities for the family to enjoy! This will take place at Carlisle Youth Zone.
Both events are FREE!!!
