What is a Magic Lantern?

We're glad you asked! A magic lantern is an early form of projector, invented in the 17th century, that uses a light source, lenses, and transparent, hand-painted glass slides to project incredible images.

Accompanied with Music, Sound Effects and Story-Telling, a Magic Lantern can put on a show like you have never seen before!

Reliving the magic of the early days of animation, we are excited to give you the opportunity to come and see a Magic Lantern show soon!
