🍂 THE PURPLE PIE AUTUMN OPEN CALL IS NOW OPEN 🍂

Yep. It’s that time again.

I’m looking for independent artists to join us for the next Purple Pie Gallery group exhibition Blasus succulent emporium , and I’m really excited to see what you’ve been making.

Whether you’ve exhibited with Purple Pie before or you’re completely new to us, I’d love to see your work.

I’m particularly interested in work that feels colourful, interesting, unexpected, personal and full of personality. But honestly, don’t overthink it. If you’re excited about something you’ve made, I want to see it.

This is an artist-led exhibition, and I’m really proud of the community we’ve been building through Purple Pie. We’ve had some amazing artists through the gallery already, and every exhibition brings a completely different mix of work and people together.

We’re getting ready for autumn at Purple Pie Gallery. 💜🍂

The gallery at Blasus succulent emporium is currently closed while we get everything ready for our **next group exhibition**, opening in October.

There’s lots happening behind the scenes — new artists, new work, lots of planning, painting, organising… you know, all the glamorous gallery stuff! 😂

But don’t worry, there’s still plenty of Purple Pie to see 👀

You can find our **curated wall at Kindred**, with more work out in the world at some very exciting new venues coming soon…

We’ll be sharing all the details as things come together, so keep an eye on our website and **sign up to the Purple Pie newsletter** if you want to hear about new exhibitions, artists, open calls and events first.

Every exhibition tells a story… and this one has been pretty special. 💜

A huge thank you to every artist who trusted Purple Pie with their work, everyone who visited the gallery, shared a post, bought a piece of art or simply stopped by for a chat. You've helped make our Summer Exhibition one to remember.

As we take a little pause throughout August to refresh the gallery and prepare for autumn, the journey certainly doesn't stop here.

An important update from our botanical oasis: our on-site Purple Pie Gallery will be taking short break this August, while we get to work revamping the space but they will be returning with a brand-new, spectacular art show this September! 🖼️✨

In the meantime, Blasus Succulent Emporium plant shop, bar, and café are still open as usual! Come down, find your next plant obsession, and enjoy a drink in the jungle. ☕🌵

🎉 Planning a celebration? We are officially available for private venue hire! Whether it’s a birthday, a corporate gathering, or a special celebration, you can host your event surrounded by lush greenery, complete with a full bar licence until 1:00 AM.
