Our Story
im a record collector of rock, pop, jazz, prog rock lps only. i rarely sell lps but if i do its at cost and i rarely pay more than £4 to £10.00 for any lp ! Im not a collector of *rare or first press records infact truth is i collect what i love what i listen to im 62 now but i still listen to what i did at 18 with some jazz { trad jazz + modearn } to give you an idea of what i buy { funds permiting } 10cc, bowie, the who,beatles, deep purple,led zepp,budgie, marillion,lone star, rem,u2, john lee ho**er, van morrison, bb-king, the stones, muddy waters, eric clapton, rush, thin lizzy,quo, whitesnake, deacon blue its an endless list.......but you get the picture. I think my music taste has broadend slightly as ive got older i like listening for example to weather report or curved air or renaissance if its a album ive not allready got i tend to listen to it on spotify for a week or so and then if i like it i buy it ! We all have fave albums but could you name three youd save if you had to jump out the window as the buildings on fire only three you can save ! Well for me its easy it would be the who - Whos Next, Supertramp - crime of the century and neil youngs - on the beach. If there was a fourth it would be *rumours - fleetwood mac...... Just a couple of my faves there. I could go on pink floyd - Wish you were here, leonard cohen - live in london, john lennons - double fantasy,manfred manns earthband - the roaring silence...... so many great albums and so little time !!
