Music Theatre Wales: Futures

Music Theatre Wales created a programme based around their new opera 'Denis & Katya' (2020). It was a creative consultation with Young People on opera, how they want to be engaged, and the future of Music Theatre Wales. The programme was facilitated by Jain Boon.

The programme shifted when the pandemic hit, and the UK went into lockdown. Sessions moved online, and the Young People drew connections with thier new way of life, and the final days of Denis & Katya.

We're really excited to start a new residency with another group of young people today. The World has changed how we expected to be working, but it will not stop us.
