One of our most inspiring classes at this year’s CYCMF was the adult amateur class. These amazing musicians had decades of performance experience behind them but enjoyed the opportunity to get some professional feedback and a supportive audience to build their technique and musicianship. They were simply fabulous to hear. We’d love to welcome more adult musicians to our festival next year.

Just a snapshot of our incredible Sunday at the Cardiff Youth Music Festival. We are so honoured to have celebrated all these amazing performers as part of our festival. Thanks so much to everyone who took part in our first year. Becca, Rebecca & Giordano are so grateful to you all. We are heading off to absorb it all, learn from the experience, and create an even more wonderful festival for 2027. We want you to be part of it! Nell and Jack were our first ever competitors at the Cardiff Youth Music Festival! They are students on the String Steps course at Cardiff & Vale Music Education/Addysg Gerdd Caerdydd A’r Fro Saturday Academi and won gold in their beginner-grade 1 string category playing with their friend Ffion. They had a blast!

The musical world is an ecosystem which works best when we support and nurture each other, promote education at the highest level, and celebrate performance & hard work. The Cardiff Youth Classical Music Festival is the first of our projects at Grow Music and we are delighted to be associated with such an established, authentic and friendly independent business.
