And we can’t bloody wait!!!

15/10/2026

A little bit of house music. A little bit of mischief. And a lot of reasons to get yourself on a dancefloor.

We’re getting rather excited about KIN now. A brilliant line-up of DJs, a room full of like-minded people and nine hours of the music we love.

No complicated concept. No taking ourselves too seriously. Just a proper party with proper music and hopefully a few questionable dance moves.

TALL PAUL heads up a fantastic line-up of DJs who know a thing or two about making people dance.

We’re incredibly proud that DJ Tall Paul will be headlining the very first KIN.

For anyone who lived through the golden era of house music, this is a very special one.

From his legendary residency at Trade to unforgettable nights at Turnmills, Cream and Ministry of Sound, Tall Paul has spent more than three decades shaping dance music. His productions have become club classics, with tracks including Rock Da House, Deeper, Train of Thought and the iconic Let Me Show You, while his remixes for artists such as New Order, The Stone Roses, Energy 52, Push, Duran Duran and The Killers have cemented his place as one of the UK’s true dance music legends.

As a producer, remixer and DJ, he’s sold millions of compilation albums, picked up countless industry awards, toured the world from Ibiza to Australia, and continues to headline the biggest clubs and festivals across the globe.

Now he’s coming to Canterbury.

On Saturday 7th November, Tall Paul will be joining us at Monk Bar for an intimate daytime session alongside an incredible line-up of the very best local talent. Expect a journey through house music from one of the scene’s true pioneers on a powerful sound system, surrounded by a room full of people who simply love great music.

This is exactly what KIN is all about.

Tickets are on sale now via Skiddle.

Good music. Good people. KIN.

FANCY JACKETS @ KIN, SATURDAY 7 NOVEMBER

Canterbury duo Fraser Owen and Brad Peto have been bringing house, disco and dancefloor energy to the decks for 15 years.

Their sets are full of great music, unexpected twists and the kind of chemistry that keeps people dancing.

We’re delighted to welcome them to KIN and celebrate two brilliant local DJs who know how to bring the energy without taking themselves too seriously.

TOMMY GALE @ KIN, 7 NOVEMBER, CANTERBURY

Next up on the KIN introductions is one of the people responsible for this whole thing.

Tommy Gale has been DJing, promoting parties and generally refusing to grow out of dance music for longer than he’d probably like us to mention.

A familiar face on the Kent scene, he’s been behind Vibe and Almost Perfect, is the organiser of Preston Summerfest and, after more than 27 years as a Peachy Raver, has also had the slightly surreal experience of playing for Peach himself.

Musically, expect proper house music. Uplifting, melodic, occasionally nostalgic and selected by someone who still gets far too excited about finding the right record.

He’s also one half of the team behind KIN, alongside Joan Slütt, which means if anything goes wrong on the day they can conveniently blame each other.

There is, however, one issue.

Rumour has it Tall Paul is actually an inch taller than Tommy.

Tommy is therefore currently considering wearing high heels for KIN. Nothing ridiculous. Just enough to restore the natural order of things.

Come and witness it for yourself.

JOAN SLÜTT @ KIN, 7 NOVEMBER, CANTERBURY.

TICKETS ON SKIDDLE.

Nobody is entirely sure where Joan Slütt came from.

What we do know is that she bears a suspicious resemblance to a perfectly respectable woman called Josie, who helps organise KIN and Preston Summerfest.

The similarities end there.

Joan’s musical tastes live firmly at the darker end of the spectrum. Melodic techno, rolling basslines, hypnotic grooves and the sort of enormous breakdowns that make grown adults close their eyes, raise one arm in the air and start behaving as though something profoundly spiritual is happening.

It isn’t.

They’re in the Monk Bar in Canterbury.

But it will feel bloody good.

Joan will be joining us behind the decks at KIN on 7 November, bringing a bit of darkness to proceedings and demonstrating precisely why Josie probably shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near a set of CDJs unsupervised.

We can’t promise things won’t get dirty in the last set of the night.

In fact, we’re rather hoping they do.

Tickets available now via Skiddle.

BEE ONYETT @ KIN, 7 NOVEMBER, MONK BAR CANTERBURY

There are DJs with great record collections. There are DJs with great technical ability. And then there are DJs who just seem to understand a dancefloor.

Bee Onyett is firmly in that last category.

Disco, Afro, house and everything in between, Bee plays with warmth, energy and a proper sense of fun. No rigid formula, no standing there waiting for the next big drop. Just brilliant records, great selections and an instinct for where to take the room next.

Since starting out in 2022, she’s gone from the Margate scene to opening for Annie Mac at Dreamland and playing festivals including Secret Garden Party, Meadows in the Mountains, Lovebox and Wilderness.

We caught her playing this summer and she completely blew us away.

KIN is about DJs we genuinely rate, playing music we genuinely love, to a room full of people who are there for exactly the same reason.

Bee fits that brief perfectly.

Very excited to have her joining the collective.

Big up Ian Dunne!

A major house music aficionado here in East Kent, Ian is someone who lives and breathes the music, and we’re delighted to have him joining us behind the decks for KIN.
