This is a lovely Septarian nodule necklace.
Septarian nodules often called ‘Dragon stones or lightning stones are geological concretions of mudstone containing beautiful internal cracks filled with minerals like yellow calcite. In the UK, you can find them on the Jurassic Coast in Dorset (particularly at Charmouth and Seatown)

However this little piece about the size of a 2p piece was found in Northumberland.
It came from the Jurassic period about 160 million years ago!
This piece has been varnished and attached to a stainless steel chain via a glued on bail.
The chain measures just over 18 inches.

Quick question for you, how do you like your eggs in the morning!?🍳🥚
Well I do love a soft boiled one or a lightly fried one, but!! my very favourite type is this beautiful egg yolk sea glass necklace 💛
A quite unusual bonfire sea glass piece and a one of a kind piece of jewellery.
It’s attached to a simple but sturdy stainless steel chain via a glued on bail, and that allows the sea glass to do the talking 🤗

Evening all! hope you’re all enjoying your Saturday!?
I’ve had a busy day with visitors but did manage to get sorting some more of our recent finds out.
If any of you know what the iron stained blue / black stripey piece of pottery was made by I’d love to know 🤗

Was very pleased to spot a beautiful yellow sea tile that Mr YMATSG found which I didn’t know about 🤭 and that it’s very similar to the pink piece I found. 💛🩷

I also scrubbed and scrubbed at a grubby old fender which our pal The Happy Picker Seaglass found and very kindly gave to me for the garden. It’s scrubbed up quite well, I already have a fab piece of ghost fishing gear rope to hang it up with.

This little ‘egg yolk’ yellow sea glass piece will soon be winging its way into the shop.
It’s a smashing piece and has streaks of yellow through the glass.
Will make a perfect necklace, now to decide what type to use 🤔
Metal ie stainless steel, waxed cord or Liberty cotton cord, can’t quite decide, what would you go for?

This is a beautiful olive green sea glass kick up or mermaids ni**le necklace.
It comes from the bottom of an old bottle.
This one is perfectly smoothed and shaped only by the rolling action of the waves. 🌊

It’s a chunk of a piece and measures 1cm deep and 2.5 cm wide.

It’s a truly beautiful piece of sea glass and has a simple glued on silver colour bail and is attached to a black adjustable waxed cord measuring 54cm / 18 inches.

Sometimes simple is best, I’ve let the sea glass do the talking.
Will come gift boxed.🎁

Well I had a busy old day yesterday, creating new items,taking orders, wrapping orders 😊 etc so today it’s grocery shopping, sending orders out and then we have to pick up little legs from nursery for a fun packed afternoon. 🥰

Good Morning everyone,happy Thursday 😊
Hope you’re all well? I’m not liking these early dark nights are you, coming in really fast now aren’t they, had to have the lights on to eat dinner last night.
We know it happens every year but it still takes me by surprise 😂
Have you any plans for today? I’m getting back to making today with a couple of pieces ready and waiting for me to get started, also will be dropping an order off that came in over night 🤭always thankful for that 🙏
