Excuse the croaky voice 😂 I'm getting over a chest infection 🤦

I've been checking in today with my buddy and gorgeous medicine man

We'll weave some magic as we journey to connect with Hawthorn, the heart medicine of these lands, as part of our opening ceremony for Heartwood Rising

A beautiful day of connection and ceremony and music and all things yummy 🥰

Come join Kyle and myself, and all sorts of yummy people for a day that really is going to touch the soul

A day where we'll all tap into our inner heartwood so that we can really feel that rising energy as we step into summer

The beauty that is hawthorn ❤️ medicine of these isles

Lesser known than cacao

Equally majikal, mysterious and supportive

I'm seeing the combination of cacao and hawthorn more often, which kinda makes sense as they are both allies for our heart

I feel we miss something though when we mix them

Both can be subtle yet deeply powerful

I'm loving the exploration with both plants by giving them each the space to flow and be felt. Honouring each for their unique blessings and teachings

Our opening ceremony at Heartwood Rising, on 30 May, will involve drinking hawthorn tea

We'll journey to the plant spirit, guided by and myself

Feel her power and tenderness, asking for guidance and support, set intentions for the day

Cacao will make her appearance later in the day 😉

I first hosted Tallulah 3 or 4 years ago in this beautiful yurt. An evening that still sits in my ❤️ and brings me goosebumps

So naturally when I was deciding who I'd love to welcome as part of Heartwood Rising, Tallulah was a simple choice for me

And she said yes!

After a day of deliciousness featuring ceremony, hawthorn, cacao, Kyle Rose, Lucy Wylde, Maya Love, Sophie Bolton, Tallulah will round things off as only she can

It really is going to be a super special day

This really is a majikal place ✨

Can't believe it's been about 20 years since I last went to St Nectan's waterfall 😲

Much has changed around it, with Humans doing Human things; building, sculpting, fencing, pathing, and putting up signs

But nature is still raw and wild and ever changing yet unchanging

A great place to mark 60th orbit around the sun

Making offerings, saying prayers, sitting with the sound of water and trees and birds

A nourishing day retreat of ceremony, music, dance and voice

I'm delighted to be bringing together Kyle Rose, Lucy Wylde, Maya Love, Sophie Bolton and Tallulah Rendall

Our day together will begin with Hawthorn, the heart medicine of these isles

We'll be fed by Frome favourite Lungi Baba's, drink cacao together

A truly nourishing and beauty filled day
