Us five Rise guys, of various size,
Will don oor disguise and harmonise,
To hasten the demise o' silence and sighs,
Wi' tunes, banter and a few dodgy reprises.

It's been far too long since we ventured oot,
Thanks tae oor resident pensioner's holiday route.
While the rest o' us waited, full o' doubt,
He was aff chasing sunshine and swanning aboot.

But the wait is ower, so nae mair alibis,
We're back on the stage tae yer great surprise.
There'll be singalongs, stompers and maybe a prize, (lies)
And a few bum notes disguised as creative improvise.

So get yersel' doon and dinnae delay,
We'll be rattlin' through classics the Rise kinda way.
If ye ken the words, sing loud and stay,
If ye don't, just nod and pretend it's okay.
