✨ 🥚I’m delighted to invite you to a Pysanka (Ukrainian Easter egg) workshop I’m running this year in the lead-up to Easter.

Join me to discover this magical tradition using a beautiful combination of candle flame, natural beeswax, and the traditional tool called “kistka” — all natural materials, just as it has been done for generations. I will introduce you to the tools, demonstrate every step, and guide you as you create your own designs.

All eggs are prepared for you — and this year you’ll have the chance to work on both goose eggs and hen eggs, making your creations even more special. You’ll leave with two stunning pieces to display proudly at home.

📍 Workshop will take place on Saturday 21 March in Fabric Paper Scissors Studio, Gedney Hill , Holbeach Drove, PE12 OPP

Expect a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, cultural exchange, beautiful storytelling, and the chance to create a piece of unique traditional art you simply won’t find anywhere else. Refreshments are included.

У цей особливий час хочу побажати нам усім не втрачати віри — віри в нашу перемогу, віри в Україну, віри в світло, яке сильніше за будь-яку темряву. Незважаючи ні на що.

Пам’ятаймо своє коріння. Святкуймо Різдво по-українськи — зі змістом, із душею, з пам’яттю про те, як це робили наші предки. Нехай у кожній родині буде свій ритуал — маленький або великий — у якому ви передаєте дітям частинку нашої культури, наших традицій, нашої ідентичності.

А якщо ваші батьки не мали змоги або не знали, як святкувати по-українськи — це не біда. Дізнайтеся, вивчіть, відкрийте для себе ці традиції. Створіть нові. Головне — навчіть своїх дітей пам’ятати, хто ми є, і нести Україну в собі.
