Sunday 29th March 2026 was the first day of British Summer Time. The clocks were put forward one hour which meant that it was still light at the start of the Open Mic. and one or two said it was lovely driving to Butterknowle during daylight. There was even some sunshine. The mood was good and the entertainment was excellent thanks to Button Hole Jam, Bill Markham, Harold Waite, Dave Scott, Jim Blenkhorn, Pat and Ron Keedy, Harry Mears, John Weighell, Dave Wilson, Two Local Blokes, Trevor Bond and Mike Murray for the music. Thanks also to Klara and Heather for organising the Raffle. All prizes are donated by members of our audience and are always appreciated. Thanks to Geoff Morson for manning the sound and also thanks to our MC Bryan.

Another cold, rainy, blustery night. However, if you were at the Butterknowle Open Mic last night the rain, wind and cold were soon forgotten with the wonderful entertainment that was on offer. There was a broad spectrum of music, genres and styles of delivery; which made for an entertaining evening.
Thanks for turning out on such a dreadful night, weatherwise and special thanks to Button Hole Jam (Bryan, Klara and Heather), Dave Scott, Julie McGrath, Bill Markham, John Wrightson, Harold Waites, John Weighell, Mike Murray, Jim Blenkhorn, Derek Reed, Anne Reed, James D***s and Trevor Bond for the music.
