Well, the last Sunday of the month was upon us. It was a cold miserable sort of day with some rain. However, the Butterknowle Open Mic was open to performers and audience alike. Thanks to Button Hole Jam, Dave Wilson, Harold Waite, Dave Scott, Colin Bird, James D***s, Harry Mears, Jim Blenkhorn, John Wrightson, Mike Murray, Angela Harland, Eddie Tinkler, Trevor Bond, and John Weighell for the excellent entertainment, also many thanks to the audience members who bring a friendly ambience to the evening.

2026, 30th August Bank Holiday, it was hoyin' it down. Rain, enough to dampen the atmosphere but not the spirit of those that turned out to visit Butterknowle Open Mic. It was surely an evening of good vibes and musical talent thanks to Button Hole Jam (Bryan, Klara and Heather), Harold Waite, Sammi, Anne Reed, Pat and Ron Keedy, Derek Reed, Dave Scott, Colin Bird, John Wrightson, Ian Swinburne, Angela Harland, Trevor Bond and Harry Mears. Thanks for the Raffle Prizes. Also thankyou to Geoff Morson for sitting behind the sound desk and Brian Cockayne for the photos of Button Hole Jam.

26-07-26 The Richmond Hillbillies finished the night with their excellent Americana set. Both Paul and Lyndsay are brilliant musicians and singers. They are always received and appreciated by our audience.
