The Aquarius Singers The Aquarius Singers is a women’s choir based in Bury St. Edmunds. Founded in 1999 by Gill Garside, it is now under the Musical Direction of Nicholas Sheehan.

Aquarius Singers thoroughly enjoyed preparing for and presenting their spring concert “Swing into Spring” at All Saints church on Saturday.
The glorious spring sunshine in the afternoon set the theme, which was continued in the entertainment. The musical programme ranged from a challenging arrangement of “She Moved Through The Fair” to an energetic medley of Sinatra songs. The performance was punctuated by some excellent spring-themed readings from a former choir member, Christian Jenner, whose participation proved “once an Aquarius, always an Aquarius.”
Hot cross buns and sparkling wine in the interval, with raffle prizes including an afternoon tea for two kindly donated by Baileys 2, a massive Easter egg and a spring plant arrangement, completed the spring theme.
Our next concert will be on 12th July - details to follow soon.
We are currently recruiting - any ladies who are interested in joining the choir please contact us via email: [email protected]
We rehearse every Thursday during term time 1.30-3pm at Trinity Methodist church, Bentgovel street, BSE. No audition necessary.
