If you enjoyed following the Burton’s Bollards shenanigans, and you’re a knitter or crafter yourself, you may have spotted me with needles or a hook in hand at various stages of the project.

Alongside the bollards, I’ve been working on another slightly bonkers year long art project: the Kindness Cardi.

Today’s goes to our two youngest crafters, Evelyn and Matilda Wraight who made numbers 3 and 4 on our trail, Stripey 1 and Stripey 2.

Huge thanks to you both for these colourful creations, they certainly brighten up our trail 😍

Hello all you fabulous Bollard Buddies!!!

The team spent a day walking the trail, chatting to others doing the same and tidying up a bit of damage and moving some bollards back to where they should be. It still blows my mind that some of the bollards get moved 🤣🤣🤣

We also wanted to start weekend appreciation posts for some of our fabulous bollards and the crafters behind them.

So today’s Saturday shoutout goes to ‘Woolace and Gromit’ by Stephanie Thompson and ‘Up,Up and Away’ by Lynn Bence. These are numbers 1 and 2 on the map and make up a stunning start to our colourful trail 🙂

Many of you lovely lot have asked for an update on Norbert.

The was indeed CCTV footage which has been passed onto the police.

Because it’s super unlikely we’ll get Norbert back, and even if we do it’s unlikely he’ll be in a state to be put back on display, we have begun remaking him to be reinstalled asap.

A huge thanks to Helen's Bake House and Tearoom who have donated the yarn needed to do this. How amazing is that?!? If you’ve never been in their Crafty Attic, just up the stairs in the tearoom, you neeeeeeed to go. It’s a delightful Aladdin’s cave of crafty goodness.

And we can’t be that upset because hundreds more people have followed our page following the incident. And I get to make a giant purple dragon again, which was a lot of fun!
