Burntisland Pipe Band Contest The Burntisland Pipe Band Contest is a local contest run under the RSPBA Lothian & Borders Branch.

The contest is open to all grades of pipe bands and is held on the Links at Burntisland.

Due to various issues the contest has been cancelled this year. We will be working to ensure that it will go ahead next year.

Burntisland Pipe band contest is looking for sponsors for next years event. Fife Council funding has now stopped so we are looking for any local businesses who would like to donate.

The Burntisland Pipe Band contest was first held in 2015. The contest is growing every year and this year we welcome 3 of the top 6 Grade 1 bands in the World.
The event is help on the Burntisland Links beside the fairground.
The first band to perform this year will be Burntisland & District Novice Juvenile B at 11:00.
The event culminates in a parade along Burntisland High Street at 16:30 followed by the massed bands and prize giving on the Links at 17:00.
