Thanks to those who came to last night's quickly-arranged Bob Marley event for making it one of those magical evenings in what appears to be a Vinyl On Wednesdays tradition. I have to admit I found it quite emotional recalling that time spent with Bob, inevitably brought a few things back. Thanks to Janet for the pic and Charlie for the vinyl.

ANNOUNCEMENT

We are sorry to announce that unfortunately Charlie Hart has tested positive for the dreaded Covid. So to avoid us becoming known as Covid on Wednesday’s, we will be rescheduling the Ronnie Lane tribute evening as a special event which will have live playing and recollections as opposed to us playing vinyl (date to be confirmed).

So this Wednesday, 6th April will now be a tribute to Bob Marley to mark the 40th anniversary of his death. Kris will be playing selected highlights from his vast repertoire and recalling the afternoon he spent with Bob in 1980, which sadly turned out to be the last interview he gave to a major music publication.
