After much thought and consideration, I’ve made the difficult decision to close down the Composer Jobs website.
With other work and life commitments, I’ve not been able to dedicate the time and attention the site deserves. In addition, with the rise of AI-generated music, I’ve seen a noticeable decline both in my own composing work and in the number of opportunities available for composers. This has naturally led to fewer roles being posted on the platform.
Composer Jobs has always been a non-profit project, created from my own frustration at how difficult it was to find composing roles in one place — and as an alternative to sites that charge candidates to apply. It has always come at a personal financial cost, but one I was proud to carry for the benefit of the composing community.
I want to sincerely thank everyone who has supported and used Composer Jobs over the years, and I wish you all the very best in your continued careers within the music and audio industry.
