What a fantastic first Sketchbook Club! Children created a colourful title page for their sketchbooks today, and most of them took it home to finish off. Next week we are straight on to painting- can’t wait.

For anyone that likes to plan ahead, I thought I’d let you know my half term plans! I will be running Halloween art classes on Tuesday the 27th of October! Booking will open next week. I haven’t decided the theme for the workshop yet but will let you know… suggestions always welcome!

*BOOK YOUR TRIAL AT ART CLUB!*

I know some parents would prefer the opportunity to check out the class before committing to the term, so I have introduced a trial class, so you can do just that! If you are unsure about timings or whether your child will enjoy my class (I’m pretty sure they will!), please book a trial session using the link below, and come and see what they think 😊

Classes will be held on Wednesdays, from the 9th of September, 4.15-5.15, at Blackwell Community Hall. Classes cost £8.50, and are suitable for children age 4 to 9, with the younger ones maybe needing a little support from parents.

Please note that a parent or guardian is required to stay and support your child for the full duration of every class. Sketchbooks will be given out upon enrolment, after the initial trial class.

A quick note to everyone coming to the photography class tomorrow- please get your children to bring a couple of small toys for some of the photos! Don’t worry if you forget, I will have some, but I thought they might like to include their own 😊

By popular demand, I will be running weekly art classes from this September for children age 4-9!

Based at Blackwell Community Hall every Wednesday from 4.15 until 5:15, children will be working on different things every week, exploring different ideas, materials and techniques, and having lots of fun!

If your child enjoys art, this will be a really lovely calm afternoon, perhaps bringing something a bit different to other clubs, when many are sporty or active.

Classes will cost £8.50 per session, and parents are required to stay and support their children if needed, or there’s good Wifi if you want to get on with something whilst they are working independently!
