We did it! Summer plays are now over for another year. Thank you so much to everyone who came to support us/ help out/ sent us messages of encouragement it means such a lot.
Do we get it right every night? Nope, I don't think it would be quite the same if we did. If we can entertain and people leave smiling (most people did 😁) then it's a success.
Everyone works so hard to put these plays together, it's not just fiddling about on stage.
We're incredibly proud to have two very talented techy men who put in hours/days of work to bring the stage to life. I'm not quite sure what we would do without them.
Amazing people also do front of house, props, make things for stage, man the bar, purchase food/drinks, clean up, designing and advertising, finance, licences, stage hands. Even members who can't be with us for the shows have volunteered time to assist where they can.
I feel very fortunate to have a second family of talented, dedicated and kind people who welcomed me in a couple of years ago and now can't seem to get rid of me. I love you all
Can't wait to see everyone again for panto! ❤️
