🎨 National Gallery Trip – A Lovely Day in London 🤍

We had such a lovely day taking a small group of our Mihaila Art Club students to London to visit the National Gallery.

The group were absolutely wonderful from start to finish — respectful, engaged, and just a really positive group to be around. It makes such a difference taking children out into a busy environment like London when they carry themselves like that, and they really did represent themselves so well.

It was really nice to see them step into something a bit different — experiencing artwork in real life, taking time to observe, and simply enjoying the day together. They approached everything with such a calm and positive attitude, which made the whole day run so smoothly.

I’m really proud of them all and grateful to have such a lovely group as part of the Mihaila Art Club 🤍

🎨✨ Easter Art Club 2026 – Thank You! ✨🎨

What a lovely few days we’ve had at the studio this week 🤍
Our young artists explored our “Lost Worlds” theme across three days — from ancient Lost Cities, to the depths of the Ocean, all the way up to magical Sky Islands ☁️🌊🏛️

We created some truly beautiful work, but more importantly, it was so special to see the creativity, imagination, and confidence grow in each student as the days went on ✨

There was lots of laughter, thoughtful ideas, and some brilliant “thinking outside the box” — whilst still allowing each child to bring their own interests and personality into their artwork 🎨
Thank you so much to all the children and teens who came along — I hope they all had a really lovely time 🤍

Hi everyone! 💛

I’m really excited to share that we’ll be running a Mihaila Art Club coach trip to the National Gallery in London this spring — a wonderful opportunity for the students to experience some of the world’s most famous paintings in real life and enjoy a creative day together in the city. 🎨

During the day we’ll explore selected areas of the National Gallery, learn about some iconic artworks, and take part in a fun gallery sketch challenge inspired by the paintings we see.

After the gallery visit we’ll enjoy lunch together in Trafalgar Square, followed by a short visit to Leicester Square / Covent Garden, where students can browse the shops and enjoy the atmosphere of London. Students are welcome to bring a small amount of pocket money if they’d like to buy something during this part of the trip.

🎨✨ Easter Art Club 2026 – Now Open for Booking! ✨🎨

I’m excited to announce that our Easter Art Club at the Bromham Art Studio is now open for bookings!

🌍 This year’s theme: Lost Worlds

Across three creative days, students will explore mysterious places and bring them to life through illustration, imagination, and storytelling.

Each day we’ll discover a different world:

🏛 Day 1 – The Lost City
Ancient ruins, hidden temples, statues, and secret treasures.

🌊 Day 2 – The Deep Ocean
Underwater worlds filled with sea creatures, coral reefs, and sunken shipwrecks.

☁️ Day 3 – The Sky Islands
Floating islands above the clouds with waterfalls, flying creatures, and magical landscapes.

Both groups will explore the same theme, but the projects will be adapted to suit the age group.

Young artists will focus on imaginative illustration while learning key artistic skills such as composition, colour blending, shading, and bringing characters and environments to life.

🎨 Teens (ages 13–17)

Teen artists will work on more detailed and advanced pieces, focusing on composition, perspective, shading, and building more complex illustrations and environments.

Teens are also very welcome to bring their school art or coursework if they would prefer to use the time to work on their own projects with guidance and support.

🏺✨ Clay Crafting is back at Mihaila Art – and it’s nearly here! ✨🏺

With only one week to go, I’m opening the final spaces for our special Clay Crafting Workshop this February — and I’d absolutely love some new young artists to join us 🤍

This isn’t our usual drawing session…
This is hands-on, 3D, messy-in-the-best-way creativity where children sculpt, build and paint their own clay creations to take home.

We’re using higher-quality clay, real ceramic techniques, specialist tools and paints, and keeping groups small so every child gets lots of individual support.
It’s always such a calm, confidence-boosting and really magical experience to watch ✨

🎄 CHRISTMAS WREATH DECORATING CLUB
A cosy, creative Christmas activity with Mihaila Art Workshops

This December, I’m hosting a special two-hour Christmas Wreath Decorating Club where students can design and personalise their very own festive wreath to treasure for years to come.
Each child will receive a full wreath to customise, along with a beautifully arranged Wreath Bar filled with gems, bells, ribbons, feathers, mini ornaments, and more. They’ll also decorate a personalised wooden plaque to attach to their wreath, making every piece completely unique.

To make the session extra cosy, there will be a free Hot Chocolate Station, and each wreath will be taken home in a lovely organza gift bag. It’s a calm, joyful evening designed to spark creativity and get everyone into the Christmas spirit.
