Hello you beauty! What a thrill to pull a Roman coin and have the privilege of holding something so old in the palm of your hand. It will be a few months before the expert gets back to me with an absolute coin ID. I’m going to be over the moon if that’s Marcus Aurelius since I so often refer to his stoic philosophies on life.

A couple of beautiful hammered silvers from yesterday’s hunt. The small one is so tiny, smaller than the head of a pencil eraser- and was a bear to get out of the hole. The larger, James the 1st, is my favorite with the beautiful Tudor rose on one side.❤️
