STITCH CLUB

Had a very lovely evening with our Stitch Club gang last night.

We stitched on postcards and made some collage pieces that will be transferred on to fabric at July’s meet.

Join and for a block of four monthly meet ups to stitch and learn new techniques together.

We’ll take a break in August and a new block of four will start up in September.

FAMILY FUN DAY

We spent the day and it was FULL of print and collage fun!

Soooo many of you dropped by to get creative and join in with all the fun at the warehouse today (rumour has it 400+ of you!) and it’s no wonder we didn’t stop all day!

UPFEST 2026

Day two and the last one for me and it was another good one!

Thanks to everyone who stopped by and made a Woven Wheel - brilliant to see lots of kids and adults getting creative together.

The mural was the perfect backdrop for our finished photos. 🌺

There’s still loads of good stuff going on now until 31st May 2026 - with a programme chock full of colourful mural painting, creative workshops, live events and community-led projects featuring over 250+ artists.

UPFEST 2026

Day one of for me and it was a good one!

Thanks to everyone who stopped by and made a shiny planet - it was so good to see both kids and adults get stuck in.

We had the pleasure of watching finish her beautiful mural in the yard and our planets looked so good against her colourful wall. Get yourself down there to see it!

COLOURFUL MINDS IS TEN!

Today marks the day 10 years ago when I ran my first public art workshop.

We made these WOVEN FLOWERS at The Southville Centre

I’ve met some amazing people and sooo many good things have happened over the last decade that I’m so very lucky this is my job!

Thank you to everyone I’ve worked with, who have supported me and my little business and ALL the children and grown ups who’ve made something with me along the way. I couldn’t have done it without you!

Special shout out to who’ve been there from the very beginning and which we miss dearly.

Those early days I’d take my then 6 year old and 5 year old along with me to work as much as I could and I love that they both have grown with Colourful Minds and still help out (only I have to pay them now!)

Cake and a little celebration today so that this milestone can sink in.

SATURDAY ART CLUB

We made some more HAPPY CLOUDS at Saturday Art Club this morning.

This time we made them out of cardboard and colourful paper, with some pipecleaners, stickers and beads thrown in.
