AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS

Back at Hannah More, St Nicks and Easton primary schools for Trinity Bristol KS2 After School Art Clubs.

This week we’ve been making colourful birds and getting to know one another - lots of chatter and laughter. And biscuits, of course.

RISO LOVE

I spent a very happy few hours 16 Tonne Press on Friday.

I think this was my fourth visit and it won’t be my last!

I can’t recommend Josh’s Intro to Riso course more highly. There’s nothing this man doesn’t know about riso.

I turned some of my 100 day project print blocks into an A3 print. It makes me happy combining these two processes - I shall be doing more!

Some stitching on top of these is next on the list…

I’ll be part of this wonderful thing - join me in September for some artful nature play in the woods for grown ups.

Harness the unique potential of each season ...

CITYSCAPE ART CLUB at Lucky Dip

Spent an ace couple of hours this afternoon

We made a colourful cardboard cityscape and this is definitely a place I’d like to live.

Thanks to all the kids and grown ups who stopped by today! 🩷

Our cityscape will be on display for a bit and you can find it in the mini football pitch at the back of the skatepark.

Aaand we’re hatching an exciting little plan with - watch this space.

SKETCHBOOK CLUB

Join us for a relaxed and playful couple of hours and explore TEXTURE with our guest host this June.

This session is all about experimentation - paints, gels, pastes, found materials, layering, building surfaces, and discovering how different mediums can transform your work.

We’ll be playing with a variety of materials, mixing and adding unexpected elements into paint, and finding out how different mediums behave and interact.

We’ll also explore the balance of adding and taking away from the surface - building up rich textures, then scraping back, sanding, or removing areas to reveal what’s underneath and create depth.

No pressure, no perfection, just a chance to get messy, be curious, and enjoy the process.
