How do you explain dementia to an 8-year-old?
That was the question sitting in the room when an Alzheimer's charity came to us. And it was the moment we realised our best work has nothing to do with animation.
Our founder, Dann Casswell, sat with their team and listened. Before a single word of script was written, he needed to understand the families they were trying to reach, what they were feeling, what they were afraid of, what they needed to hear.
How do you tell a child that the person who loves them most might forget their name without forgetting them?
We gathered feedback from young people. Rewrote the script. Rewrote it again. Used children's voices in the film. We kept going until it didn't just inform, it reassured.
That's what every collaboration looks like at CC Animation Studio.
We specialise in healthcare, social care, mental health and research.
Sectors where getting communication wrong has real consequences for real people. The animation is what the audience sees.
The real work is everything we build with you before that.
We take on work we care about, work that helps people, and work that inspires us to do our best to make our clients' impossible jobs just that little bit easier.
This April and May, we're donating £100 for the basic package and £150 for the premium package to the Mental Health Foundation via Work for Good in support of Mental Health Awareness Week 2026.
Because this is the work we care about. It always has been.
If you have a project in mind, we'd love to hear about it.
