Following their sold-out Hen & Chicken show in February, we are excited to welcome back Furlined.

Infectious hooks, rich vocals and lush, swooning cello are the defining features of Furlined, a Bristol-based band formed in 2012 by singer-songwriter Neil Crossley and cellist Tegan Everett.

The band's sound spans alt country and wry English chamber pop – "Morrissey meets Americana" as one review put it – and they have been likened to Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Richard Hawley and Orange Juice.

21st-century troubadour JoeMartinMusic returns to the Hen & Chicken on Friday 18th of September to perform songs from his latest studio album Alone In Valentine.

The new record features a body of work carefully crafted over the last few years, recorded over seven days in Nashville, Tennessee with Cal Campbell and Cornelius Webb (sons of the much loved Glen Campbell and Jimmy Webb).

This album was made in a similar way to the classic, golden years of Country / Americana while offering something new, yet timeless.
