Vessels has just been awarded a prestigious LIT Design Award 🌟

The  celebrate global excellence in lighting products, architectural lighting, and entertainment lighting design. They honour creativity and innovation, recognising lighting as both an art and a science, and champion the designers, makers, and teams who bring visionary ideas to life.

We’re thrilled that Vessels has been selected as the winner in the Outdoor Light Art Installation category, and absolutely over the moon to see the project recognised on this stage.

Originally commissioned by it is now touring internationally.

Huge congrats to everyone involved in bringing Vessels to life.

Last weekend we premiered ‘Mind & Matter’ at the City of Codes and Light Festival in Milton Keynes

From the chaos of the Big Bang to ancient stargazing and stunning deep-space imagery, the artwork transformed the architecture into a portal through time and space, inviting audiences to rediscover the cosmos, and our place within it.

‘Vessels’ in all its glowing glory

Vessels is a sculpture where science, technology and culture collide. A modern take on monuments that brought people together in ancient civilisations to contemplate and celebrate the sun.

Three monolithic pyramid structures are filled with smoke. A laser, mounted at the apex, shines vivid and defined rays that create three-dimensional forms that shift in synchronisation with music.

From the stone circles of England to the Pyramids of Egypt, monolithic structures were built across the globe as a centre point for rituals to take place. Where light would interact with the structure resulting in transcendent experiences for collective audiences.

The sculpture is designed for outdoor and indoor displays and is available for exhibition.

Spectra has been on display in Florida for three months!

We’ve been bowled over by all the incredible feedback, thanks so much to everyone who has made it along.

Spectra is an immersive light sculpture created in collaboration with music producer . Originally presented in partnership with , Spectra was nominated for the grand prize at 2022’s (Lille)

Volumetric light, projection mapped animation and synchronised sound interact to immerse audiences in moments of healing, rhythm and overstimulation. It takes the audience on a journey from the sun-worshipping cultures of Ancient Egypt to the contemporary cultures of modern cities across the world.

Spectra took its inspiration from the book ‘Chasing The Sun’ by Linda Geddes; conversations with leading UK historians, scientists, astronomists and ecologists helped shape its development.

✨ One month of Illusions of Movement at Mad Arts! ✨

The film triptych was specially developed for its international premiere, featuring reimagined content, enhanced lighting, and updated interactivity.

Illusions of Movement takes audiences on a 45,000-year journey through the evolution of storytelling—from Neolithic cave paintings to the rise of AI. Blending poetry, archival footage, and original content, it explores how humans have used technology to capture and represent reality.

Intricate projection mapping, volumetric lighting, and immersive interactivity bring the story to life, surrounding audiences in radiant beams of color that extend beyond the sculptural video screens.

Originally commissioned for UNESCO Cities of Film’s ‘Summer of Film’ Takeover in Bristol (2023)

Limbic in America! 🇺🇸

We crossed the pond for the first time, last week.
We are thrilled that , a leading immersive arts museum in Florida, is exhibiting Spectra & Illusions of Movement until June.

We revisited and developed both pieces in early January before heading out to work alongside the fantastic Mad team for the installation. Even more exciting—our works will feature alongside IGNITE, their outdoor light festival, during February.

Can’t wait to see how American audiences respond..
