A cancer diagnosis affects more than the body.
Anxiety, pain, fatigue, fear and loneliness are common challenges that last long after treatment ends.
Traditional cancer care is unable to meet such challenges, which is why Move Dance Feel exists.
Our evidence-informed programmes offer creative, movement-based support that helps women reconnect with themselves and with others - improving mood, reducing stress and anxiety, supporting body confidence, and strengthening social connection.
Move Dance Feel research findings also highlight wider benefits of dance in this context, including improved wellbeing, better self-management of health, increased energy and quality of life.
Led by specialist dance artists with expertise in cancer care and community practice, our sessions are built on safety, artistry, trust and compassion. We also work to reduce barriers to access, offering free and pay-what-you-can opportunities wherever possible.
This is holistic support that moves with women - not just through cancer, but beyond it.
“I was truly amazed by the effect of Move Dance Feel on my patients. The benefits in terms of improved confidence and wellbeing were remarkable and supported by clinical data. The programme is a huge success.”
