Dear Crazy Readers,

Thank you all for sticking by us during our recent pause in production and, of course, for buying and enjoying Cross Stitch Crazy magazine throughout our 20+ years on the newsstand. Unfortunately, we have some sad news to share with you today. Our beloved magazine, Crazy, will sadly be closing due to the coronavirus’ significant and unprecedented impact on our business.

During these difficult times, our publisher, Immediate Media, was forced to make the difficult decision to cease publication on a number of titles, including Crazy. If you have a magazine subscription to Cross Stitch Crazy, you will receive communication from us shortly either by email or, if we do not hold an email for you, by letter. This will let you know what will happen to your subscription.

We understand how disappointing this will be for many of you, but we on Team Crazy want to take this moment to express how much your loyalty and support has meant to us over the years. You’ve shared heartfelt stories, beautiful completed projects, personal triumphs and many kind words with us, and we can’t even begin to tell you how much we’ve appreciated every letter, social media mention and email. You, the readers, are what made our work worthwhile. You were the reason behind our beautiful cross stitch designs, and our reason for getting up and going into work every day. We hope we’ve been able to make some small impact on your lives – you’ve made an incredible impact on ours. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.

**IMPORTANT UPDATE**
Like many businesses, Immediate Media has been negatively impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. In order to protect the long-term future of the company we have had to embark on a cost-saving project across the business, which unfortunately includes the proposed closure of some brands in our Craft portfolio, including Cross Stitch Crazy.

The news of the proposed changes was announced internally, as any closures will unfortunately result in some redundancies. We are now in a period of consultation with the affected teams so can’t comment further until these discussions have been concluded. This is why we haven’t made any announcements to readers and subscribers just yet. As soon as we are in a position to do so, then we will confirm more details.

These have been extremely difficult decisions to make and we are very sorry that you are hearing the news this way. We know many of our loyal readers and subscribers will be upset by this news, and we would like to thank you for your continued support and understanding during this difficult time.

We will be in touch again with more news as soon as we can. For subscribers, we are hoping to be in a position to write to you with more information and options in early September.
