Next up on the lineup for the Bristol Cuban Fiesta is the wonderful Sarah Leigh!

Sarah has an energy, passion and a sense of fun that are utterly infectious. Music and dancing light her up! She ably assists with dance classes, both at home in Bristol and beyond. Never without a smile, her energy and belief that dance is for all, means you’ll rarely find her off the dance floor.

Sarah is a huge part of the Bristol Sala Congress, and we’re so happy to have her as part of the team for the Bristol Cuban Fiesta, teaching Cubatone!

Next up on our Bristol Cuban Fiesta line-up is DJ MJ!

DJ MJ, aka Janos, is Hungarian and has been DJing for 15 years! He met Willian on Salsa En Vivo, and since then has been a frequent DJ at his events. As well as DJing for his previous salsa events at BAWA, he also DJ-ed at the Bristol Salsa Congress, and now he's back to bring the vibes to the Bristol Cuban Fiesta!

🇨🇺 MEET OUR DJS: DJ MARK 🇨🇺

We're so lucky to have three amazing DJs on the decks at the Bristol Cuban Fiesta. First up - meet DJ Mark!

For over ten years, Mark has been one of the resident DJs at LatinMotion’s successful monthly Revolucion Cuban party nights in Solihull near Birmingham, which attracts dancers from across the Midlands and beyond - and has been making the monthly pilgrimage from Bristol since moving there in 2021.

Other regular appearances include the Salsa… Feel the Heat annual weekender in Southport alongside top Cuban DJs Flecha and Javier la Rosa, as well as the Cuban room at MotionCity and LatinMotion NYE Fest, and many, many more! In 2024, he made his overseas debut DJing in France, and hopes to return soon.

Known for his knowledge, enthusiasm and passion for Cuban Son and Timba, Mark's aim is to read the crowd and the atmosphere, playing the right music at the right time, with a varied authentic mix from classics to brand new discoveries. Oh, and a bit of percussion... 🇨🇺🎶🎵

We’re currently working hard behind the scenes to bring you not just one but TWO incredible salsa events in the city of Bristol! 🤩

We’re very excited to share that we’ve just added Sexteto Café to our live music lineup at the Bristol Salsa Congress. They’ll be joining the Cuba Libre Son Band for a historic night of live music in the UK! Our artist line-up will be coming soon, so watch this space!
