Something is happening at Brave Performer… 👀

I’ve been a little quiet over here because there’s been a LOT happening behind the scenes.

Brave Performer is growing.

There are some exciting things taking shape, some things I’ve been working on for a while, and a few things I’m not quite ready to tell you about yet…

But I can tell you this:

There’s more coming for young performers and the people who support them.

More support.
More practical tools.
More ways to help performers feel calmer, more confident and more able to enjoy doing what they love.

And I’m very excited about what’s next.

Watch this space. 🎭

A simple self-talk shift that can help before performing:

Instead of saying
“I’m so nervous”

Try saying
“My body knows what to do!”

When we label nerves as something negative, the brain can interpret it as danger.

But when we understand that those sensations are the body preparing for action, it often feels easier to manage.

Your heart beating faster, your stomach flipping, your energy rising, these are all part of the body getting ready to perform.

Small shifts in self-talk can make a big difference to how a performance feels. Save this for before your next performance. l

I have 2 spaces becoming available in my 6-week Brave Performer 1:1 programme.

This is for young dancers and performers who are talented, but nerves are getting in the way.

If your child struggles before exams, competitions or auditions, we work together to help them understand their anxiety and feel more calm and in control under pressure.

I offer a free 15 minute discovery call to see if it’s the right fit.

Send me a message or comment “BRAVE” and I’ll send the details.

That’s a wrap for this year ✨

Brave Performer is taking a short pause over Christmas.
No sessions. No content pressure. Just a bit of breathing space.

If this time of year feels exciting and overwhelming (because it often is), here’s a simple reminder you can actually use:

You don’t need to feel calm to cope.
You just need to feel safe enough.

So if things feel loud, busy or emotionally full, take the pressure off trying to “enjoy every minute”.
Rest counts. Quiet counts. Doing less counts.

I’ll be back in the New Year with some exciting things planned for 2026.
Thanks for being here!

See you soon, Sarah x

Sometimes the calm you need doesn’t come from breathing exercises or grounding tricks, it comes from stepping outside your head for a minute.
Different lights, different air, different energy.
A tiny nervous system reset without even trying.

If your performer has been running on adrenaline, worry, or “what ifs” lately…
remind them it’s OK to step away from the pressure and take in something that feels bigger, softer, steadier.

A change of scene can do more than you think.
A 30-second reset can shift the whole evening.

Something new is coming to Brave Performer in 2026 👀
And if your performer struggles with nerves, overthinking or pressure… they’re going to want to be here for it.

I’m building something designed for the real moments no one sees:
the shaking hands, the backstage panic, the “I can’t do this” moments and the tools to get through them.

I’m keeping the details quiet for now…
but if you want first dibs, drop a 🔥 in the comments.

2026 is going to be the year performers get braver.
Let’s go.

PERFORMER BINGO 🎭✨

A little Friday fun for my dancers / singers / actors / backstage pros 👀
How many can you cross off? (No judgement… we’ve all been there.)

Tag a friend who’d get a full house 👇
and save this for when you need a laugh mid-rehearsal 💛

If your body freaks out before you perform… this is why 👇

Your brain isn’t dramatic, it’s doing its job.
It just can’t tell the difference between:
🎭 walking on stage
and
🐯 being chased by danger

So your system hits FIGHT / FLIGHT.
That’s why you get:
• shaky legs
• fast heart
• blank mind
• dry mouth
• “I can’t do this” panic

None of this means you’re underprepared.
It means you’re HUMAN.

The good news?
You can train your body to come out of fight/flight fast and perform with a clear head.

Save this post for next time your nerves show up — it’s not weakness, it’s biology 💛🔥

RESET PODS — coming soon 👀

Imagine this 👇
A tiny 5-minute space you can escape to at dance comps, backstage, or between rounds…
Where the adrenaline drops, the panic settles, and your brain finally resets.

No talking.
No pressure.
Just you, a pair of headphones, and a calm that hits fast.

Perfect for:
✨ Dancers on edge
✨ Parents running on fumes
✨ Teachers juggling 50 emotions at once

I’m keeping the details under wraps for now…
but trust me — this is going to change the game.

Brave Performer Reset Pods.
5 minutes. Big shift.
Stay tuned 👀🔥

Nobody sees this bit.

The part before the stage.
Before the smile.
Before the music hits.

The part where your performer’s hands shake, their chest tightens, and their brain suddenly forgets everything they rehearsed.

This is the side of performing that doesn’t make it to Instagram, but it’s real, it’s common, and it’s nothing to be ashamed of.

If your performer has a moment like this before they step out there… they’re not broken.
They’re human.
And they’re not alone.

At Brave Performer, we make sure these moments don’t define the whole performance.
We help them walk through it, not hide it.
