Last night was our most successful Brighton Slamologue yet!
The turnout and atmosphere last night were incredible. Thank you to every person who came to support and perform.
(Photos and videos coming soon!)

We had a real whiplash of genres and performance styles, with loads of networking and creative chatter - exactly what we love!

Highlights included a visit from the Queen, finding out what happens after you get struck by a meteorite, and someone performing something they wrote in public for THE VERY FIRST TIME!

Treading the boards, we had:
🎭Warmup & Works-In-Progress🎭
Paul Levy – Monologue 71
Steve Saul– The Preamble To Monsters Anonymous
Margarita du Boulay Steinberg - Woman Almost Struck by a Meteorite (By Tsveta Dimova)
Rhys Bloy – The Fringe of Brighton
Virginia Thorn – ExtraOrdinary (by Gemma Dunbar)*
*Breaking the mould with a DUOLOGUE!

🎭THE SLAM🎭
Andrew King – Vapists
Louie Renna – Metallic
Carole Shaw - The Queen, Shakespeare & Me
Madame Isolde (Tristan Wolfe) – My Ghost Story

🎭Meet the Cast of 'Toast: Stories From the End of the World' 🎭

Summer Tewkesbury is a Brighton-based triple threat & ICTheatre graduate (BA Hons Performing Arts, 2022), bringing stories to life across stage, screen & immersive theatre.

💫 Recent work includes Viola in Twelfth Night (WitWerks Theatre), Maze Master at The Crystal Maze LIVE Experience London, and lead dancer in Gatsby (Groundlings Theatre). She’s also currently touring her improvised show Who Wrote This? (catch it at Brighton Fringe) and brought festive chaos to Robin Hood last Christmas.

🎪 Her love of immersive storytelling has led her to perform with Lapland UK, Goodwood Revival & Tulleys Shocktober Fest, alongside a range of short films and dance projects.

🎙 Summer is also the founder & host of The Audition Room podcast, sharing honest conversations about the Performing Arts industry.

👑 When she’s not on stage, she teaches young performers...or swaps scripts for tiaras as a professional princess entertainer!
