It's been a week now since we closed 'The Summer Show', where has the time gone!

As the kids are getting ready to return to school next week, I am busy prepping for my upcoming one man tour for September and October, before returning to Pantomime this December.

My diary is open for 2027 and already booking as far as 2028, so if you are organising events and shows, and were thinking of putting on some entertainment pop me a message.

Its been a beautiful Summer spending time with these lovely, positive, hard working people on and off the stage.

Thank you to Aaron at AJL THEATRICAL LTD and Rob at West Cliff Theatre for having me back for my third full season here.

The moto of the West Cliff Theatre is 'always a warm welcome', which is brought to life by the backstage and front of house team, making the West Cliff Theatre my favourite theatre. Their love and commitment for this theatre is unmatched anywhere else I've had the pleasure of working. Thank you!

Its been a pleasure to share the stage once again and have a giggle with Steve Hewlett Ventriloquist - someone who is just as funny and warm off stage as he is on. He is a good ambassador for the world of ventriloquists and enjoyed hearing some of his showbiz stories. His tribute to Jimmy Cricket was beautiful.

Vocalists Kira MacCarter George Grant and all the dancers have been fantastic this year. Really superb! Clacton doesn't know how lucky they are to have them on their doorstep. They were always up for helping me with the TikToks to help promote the show online - a heartfelt thank you xx

Today is the last day. 2 final shows. Another year added to the 130 years of entertainment heritage here in Clacton. I really hope you get to see this show one day. It would be a shame to miss it.

If you are about today, Saturday 22nd August, at 2.30pm or 7pm, maybe look at coming to support the longest running summer variety show in the world.

In Memoriam — Juan Tamariz (1942–2026)

The world of magic has lost one of its true masters.

Juan Tamariz was far more than an extraordinary magician. He was a teacher, thinker, innovator and an inspiration to generations of magicians around the world. His unique personality, unmistakable laughter and profound understanding of our art made him one of the most influential figures in modern magic.

His legacy will live on through his performances, his teachings and in the countless magicians whose lives and magic he touched.
FISM International extends its deepest condolences to his family, friends and the entire magic community.
