Both a film and interactive theatre night where three superfans of 90s action classic Point Break exhibit the result of their fandom – an eight-years-in-the-making no budget remake, Point Broke.

For those who missed the Point Broke premiere a couple of weeks ago (or even want to see it again) – there is a new screening scheduled for Sat 10 January 2026! Same time and place as before, 1pm at Ironworks Studios near the station.

Thank you so much to everyone who came to the Point Broke premiere, we had an absolute blast! It was so great to finally watch the film with an audience, and all the feedback was amazing. And you raised more than £200 for Surfers Against Sewage, which is obviously going to be Point Broke's favoured charity.

We're planning more screenings (to which you are of course invited if you want to see it again), the next will probably be in January.

We know there's a number of people who missed the premiere and want to see it – but we also want to gauge how big a venue we might fill. It would really help us if you were able to forward the below mailing list link to anyone you know who might want to see the film – if we get enough people we'll go for a bigger venue!

Finally... the premiere!

Ladies and gentleman, we just need a few more moments of your time…

It is with great excitement that we can announce the dates of the first Brighton Fringe shows for 'Keanu is Coming'! Join us on Friday 12th or Saturday 13th May at The Caroline of Brunswick in Brighton for an hour of comedy and film fandom: https://www.brightonfringe.org/events/keanu-is-coming/

Using mobile phones and costumes gleaned in charity shops, we have been shooting a no-budget re-make of the 1991 classic Point Break since 2017. Point Broke features dire acting, dubious accents and a jaw-dropping lack of continuity. Come and enjoy our screening of a few key scenes from our homage to the film – and maybe even take part in the show, acting out a scene as a Point Break character.

Perhaps you were lucky enough to catch one of our pilot shows in August of last year. If so, you will be pleased to learn that we will be showing some different scenes from last time and have changed up one of the audience participation scenes as well. In other words – if you enjoyed it before, you can enjoy it all again!

A massive thanks to everyone who came to the first two Keanu is Coming shows at the Caroline of Brunswick last weekend – the three of us had an absolute blast, such enthusiastic audiences on both nights who threw themselves into the audience participation! In hindsight, Roach was right, they really shouldn't have gone to that vault. This is the scene where things begin to unravel for the Ex-presidents. Anna takes on the role of a very stressed Utah whilst Lucie's Bodhi maintains a zen calmness when all around him are losing their heads!..."Who is Mr F**king Dugan?!" Thankfully Ms Jennings is happy to help...
