This is Silvia and I at the home’s Summer Party ! We made sure I visited her room as she was unable to head outside and she was a vast knowledge of musicals!! This lady knows what she likes too and this day it wasn’t I Feel Pretty but a bit of the King and I ! She has a beautiful smile 🥰

Songbird 🎶

I think making connections whether that be through music or simply talking to one another is so important. That's why I love going round the rooms of residents who can't make it out to communal areas. I'll ask what their favourite musical is and I'll sing a song from it, most likely we'll sing it together!

I visit Maureen monthly who has a room full of drawings, pictures and animals! Maureen loves the musicals and sometimes even tests my knowledge on them! She also writes me stories of her visits to the theatre from the past and poems about my visits! Here is a gift she gave me 🩷

This is Bill and I singing Wouldn’t It Be Loverly together from My Fair Lady – an absolute classic I’d say!

Everytime I visit this home, Bill sings every song with me and he always makes sure I leave with a tunnocks bar (which maybe is supposed to be a secret actually ? 😋)

It was Bill’s birthday on Saturday so the home asked me to come in and sing! And because it was valentines day, I put my red dress on too!!

Happy birthday Bill!! ❤️

I mostly visit care homes however last year, I started singing at Chichester Lunch Club. We of course sing all the classics and then sing and chat about all things Chichester Festival Theatre ☺️ Here are some really kind words from some of the guests there !

Hello everyone ! How is it February already !

Just wanted to say thank you for following my journey so far singing at care homes ❤️

I’ve been reflecting on what a wonderful year I had in 2025 making 220 visits, travelling to new homes in Chichester, Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill, Peacehaven, Rottingdean, Saltdean, Hassocks and Brighton!

All of this plus singing with my vocal trio and squeezing in a pantomime at the end of the year !
